Catherine Ulanovski

For over a decade, Catherine Ulanovski has worked with metal and gemstone, one piece at a time, from her studio in Kadima, Israel — known for combining unexpected materials with a steady, patient hand. Painting arrived more recently, but the instinct is the same: an eye for color, texture, and the quiet drama of contrast. Working mainly in acrylic on canvas, applied with a palette knife, she builds up bold, saturated color in layers. Each canvas, like each ring, is one of a kind — made slowly, by hand, to be lived with.
